Job summary

CENTRIC ENGINEERING PTE. LTD. is seeking an experienced welder to perform TIG/MIG/ARC welding both on-site and in-house. The role requires reading technical drawings and contributing to daily production planning under supervision.

The candidate should have 10+ years in the welding industry, be willing to work 5.5 days per week, and be prepared to work at the Tuas South site. Shift work may be required and the role includes various fabrication-related tasks.

Qualifications

• Able to read technical drawings.
• 10 years working experience in welding industry.
• 5.5 working days per week.
• Willing to work at Tuas South area.

Responsibilities

• Welds on premises and on site (TIG/MIG/ARC).
• Assist Supervisor in reporting daily production schedule to Management.
• Ensure products meet quality and customer requirements.
• Perform shift work when needed.
• Assist in other welding-related tasks (shearing, forming, etc.).
• Assist Supervisor with customer complaints and workers issues.
• Assist in delivering finished products to customers.
• Carry out preventive and corrective maintenance as required.
• Undertake ad-hoc projects or assignments as required.

• Assist Supervisor in other areas of work, e.g. welding, shearing, forming and others.
• Assist Supervisor in any customer complaint and workers issues.
• Assist Supervisor in delivering of finished product to customer.
• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance as required.
• Undertake any ad-hoc projects or assignments as required.

Requirement:

• Able to read technical drawings
• 10 years working experience in same industry
• 5 and half working day per week
• Willing to work at Tuas South area
