Responsibilities & Authorities
- Work performed required experience and initiative and the ability to perform regular duties under minimal supervision.
- Comply with engine manuals, operation sheets and parameter-sheets.
- Check and verify part number and serial number against traveller.
- Prep part by cleaning with acetone, polishing, wire brush or scotch bright before welding.
- Set up equipment to accommodate variations in parts and ensure quality welds are achieved.
- Maintain good housekeeping practices on machines and in work area
- Thoroughly complete production paper work and systems transactions
- Wear necessary protective gloves, masks, shields and coats as required.
- Comply with all company and safety rules and regulations during course of duties.
Able to work rotating shift
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities
- TIG weld on mild steel and stainless steel.
- Able to interpret technical drawings and reading symbols.
Education
- Secondary School/O Level, Professional Advanced/Higher/Diploma
Experience
- Minimum 3 years of relevant experience in a manufacturing environment
