Job summary

NAVEER BUILDERS PTE. LTD. is seeking a Welding Supervisor to read and interpret technical drawings and welding procedures, supervise welding activities on site or in workshops, and ensure compliance with WPS and project drawings.

The role requires maintaining welder qualification records, enforcing safety protocols, and planning daily schedules to meet production targets. Field work and strong communication skills are essential for success.

Qualifications

• Read and interpret technical drawings, fabrication standards, and welding procedures.
• Familiar with MIG/TIG/Stick welding, grinder, gas cutter, plasma cutter, slip roller, etc.
• Ensure proper use of welding equipment, materials and consumables according to specifications.
• Maintain accurate records of welder qualifications, weld logs, and inspection reports.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate welding activities at site or workshop to ensure compliance with approved Welding Procedure Specifications (WPS) and project drawings.
• Monitor welder performance and workmanship to meet quality and safety standards.
• Enforce workplace safety procedures, especially related to hot work and confined spaces.
• Support training and qualification of welders in line with company and industry standards.
• Plan daily work schedules and manpower assignments to meet production targets.
