Job summary

DNC (EDUCATION) PTE. LTD. is seeking a weekend classroom assistant/teacher to support early childhood programs at Pasir Ris / Kinex. You will implement class programs, maintain the learning environment, and build positive relationships with children and parents.

Commitment of one year on weekends, training after assessment, and a focus on safety and energetic engagement with children.

Qualifications

• Able to commit 1 year to working on WEEKENDS.
• Training provided upon passing of assessment.
• Experience in working with young children will be an advantage.
• Possess good communication and classroom management skills.
• Enthusiastic & energetic and has a positive mindset to learn and grow together with the company.
• Creative and loving energy with a positive disposition
• Excellent communication and classroom management skills

Responsibilities

• Implement the program for the class in accordance with the policies, guidelines, framework and philosophy of the centre.
• Maintain the upkeeping of teaching resources, arrangement, appearance and learning environment of the classroom.
• Maintain and build relationships with children and parents.
• Use positive discipline techniques at all times.
• Ensure safety of children within the premises
• Any other ad-hoc duties as delegated by Centre Director

Job Details

• Lesson slots are between 9am - 6.30pm (2hours per lesson)
