Job summary

ITCAN PTE. LIMITED is seeking an experienced test engineer to lead testing activities for web applications, developing automated and manual test cases to ensure quality across environments.

The role collaborates with clients and teams to analyze requirements and deliver reliable software solutions. The ideal candidate brings 2-5 years of web testing, strong QA knowledge, and hands-on experience with Selenium, Cucumber, Serenity, Jira, and CI/CD pipelines.

Qualifications

• 2–5 years of experience as a test engineer for web applications.
• Familiar with Agile SDLC and agile testing practices.
• Proficient in web automation testing: Selenium, Cucumber, Serenity.
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines and test management tools (Jira, Confluence).
• Banking or financial domain knowledge is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Determine testing requirements and create comprehensive coverage.
• Develop and maintain detailed test cases and data using automation and Jira Zephyr.
• Plan, prioritize, monitor progress, and coordinate testing activities to meet timelines.
• Provide daily status updates on UAT/QA to stakeholders.
• Design and execute automated test scripts within the regression suite.
• Analyze client requirements to inform testing scope.
• Ensure quality across SIT, UAT, performance, and production environments.
• Prepare test data and report defects for timely resolution.
