Job summary

1011 United Overseas Bank Ltd is seeking a People Manager to guide and coach Client Advisor Assistants (CAA) and ensure efficient resource utilization in wealth management. The role entails day-to-day supervision, recruitment, and cross-department coordination to deliver client commitments.

You'll mentor CAAs, participate in system UAT and improvement projects, and develop contingencies for disruptions while optimizing client servicing processes. 5–7 years of ARM experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• Minimum Diploma/Degree holder with preferably more than 5-7 years minimum prior experience as an Assistant RM (ARM) in the Wealth Management segment.
• CACS Certification (Paper 1 & 2) is required.
• Knowledge in booking and settling trades of various asset classes and products a strong advantage (e.g., Fixed Income, Equities, FX-linked products, unit trusts Funds, Structured Notes).
• Experience in leading a team is a strong advantage.

Responsibilities

• A People Manager responsible for guiding and coaching Client Advisor Assistants (CAA) and ensuring optimal CAA resource utilization.
• Day-to day supervisory oversight of CAAs
• Resourcing of CAAs and need for back-ups (in consultation with Team Leaders)
• CAA Recruitment
• Coordinate across departments to implement and deliver on client commitments
• Escalate service issues to relevant internal stakeholders
• Provide mentorship to new CAAs as well as participate in adhoc projects e.g., systems application UAT, process improvements and focus groups.
• Develop and test contingencies to ensure service expectations are always maintained during disruption situations e.g., CAAs on emergency leave, medical leave etc.
• Optimize existing client servicing processes
