Zusammenfassung

PUB, The National Water Agency, seeks an Assistant Engineer / Senior Assistant Engineer (Operations) to support the day-to-day operation and monitoring of water treatment plants. You will coordinate contractors, review lab results, and produce reports while ensuring compliance with SOPs and WSH regulations.

The role requires technical knowledge in water treatment, strong analytical and communication skills, and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a regulated environment.

Qualifikationen

• Diploma in Engineering; Chemical, Environmental, Mechanical, Electrical or related discipline preferred.
• Strong analytical, reporting and administrative skills.
• Familiarity with data analysis tools and SCADA is advantageous.

Aufgaben

• Support shift operators in the day-to-day operation of water treatment plants and ensure SOP/WSH compliance.
• Review water sampling results, monitor plant data, and maintain water quality according to WHO/USEPA/EPH guidelines.
• Analyse operational data and water quality trends; prepare KPI reports for management.
• Administer operations-related contracts, coordinate contractor works on-site, and manage related documentation including payments and procurement records.
• Collaborate with maintenance, engineering and operations teams, regulators and vendors to achieve tasks efficiently.
• Contribute to process improvements and SOP reviews to enhance plant efficiency and reliability; support incident follow-ups.
