Job summary

P-CON MANAGEMENT PTE. LTD. is seeking a Civil Engineer to plan, coordinate and supervise water main and pipeline works in Singapore.

You will manage daily site activities, coordinate with RE, consultants, contractors and authorities, review drawings and risk assessments, and ensure project progress, safety and PUB compliance. The ideal candidate holds a Civil Engineering degree, and is IES certified or eligible, with at least 3 years in civil construction and water pipeline installation.

Qualifications

• Bachelor or higher degree in Civil Engineering or equivalent.
• IES certification as Resident Engineer is required or highly preferred.
• At least 3 years of civil construction experience, preferably PUB water main works.
• Experience with water pipeline installation, excavation, testing and commissioning.
• Familiar with construction drawings, specs, method statements and inspection procedures.
• Strong coordination, communication and problem-solving skills; able to work independently.

Responsibilities

• Plan, coordinate and supervise water main and pipeline works.
• Manage day-to-day site activities including excavation, pipe laying and backfilling.
• Coordinate with RE, consultants, contractors and authorities for smooth execution.
• Review drawings, method statements and risk assessments prior to work.
• Monitor progress and ensure works meet schedule and quality requirements.
• Coordinate with subcontractors to ensure manpower, materials and equipment availability.
• Arrange inspections, testing, commissioning and ensure PUB compliance.
• Provide technical guidance to site teams to ensure safety and efficiency.
