Job summary

Soitec is seeking a Project Lead to manage utilities delivery, installation, testing, and commissioning of primary facilities equipment in a semiconductor environment. You will coordinate with contractors, system owners, and stakeholders to ensure quality, safety and regulatory compliance.

The role requires 2+ years in semiconductor management, experience as a C&G engineer, and proficiency with P&IDs, 3D BIM models, and CAD layouts. Strong communication and independent work style are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or related discipline.
• Minimum 2 years in semiconductor management.
• Minimum 2 years as C&G engineer in a semiconductor plant.
• Hands-on with semiconductor tool hookup design and construction management an advantage.
• Proficiency in reading P&IDs, isometric drawings, 3D BIM models or CAD layouts.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• MS Word and Excel knowledge mandatory.
• Knowledge of UPW is an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Manage utilities project delivery to ensure on-time completion with quality and safety.

• Review design documents, P&IDs, 3D BIM models, and technical specs to ensure alignment with standards.
• Lead coordination meetings with contractors, system owners and stakeholders.
• Manage documentation including drawings, BIMs, and software.
• Ensure punch list and defect list items are closed.
• Act as chemical and gas backup owner and manage LSS and gas systems.
• Undertake ad-hoc assignments to cover others on leave.

What does the job consist?

Responsibilities:

Project Lead

• Project Management to ensure delivery of utilities will be completed on time, and complied on quality, safety, and SOITEC requirements. Manage the installation, testing, and commissioning of primary facilities equipment, focusing on :
• Chemical and Gas system
• Bulk Gas supply
• Ultra Pure Water system (UPW)
• Provide suppliers on requirements, review suppliers’ proposal and align with system owner on design.
• Review contractor design, submittals, P&IDs, 3D BIM models, and technical specifications to ensure alignment with SOITEC standards and system owners, local regulation, loss prevention requirements (International standards) and operational reliability goals.
• Lead coordination meeting and communication with respective stakeholders including contractors, system owners, top management, and other involve stakeholders to ensure alignments on plan, conflicts management, and executions.
• Lead management of necessary documents including drawing, BIMS, and software programs.
• Ensuring completion of punch list and defect list items.

Chemical and gas backup owner

• Manage LSS system

Task & Assignments not limited to the above

• To undertake assignments / projects on top of the above specified roles and specific period just to cover other on leave engineer.

Requirements & qualifications

Educational Qualifications :

Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering of related discipline..

Relevant Experience :

• Minimum 2 years, experience in semiconductor management.
• Minimum 2 years, experience as C&G Engineer in a semiconductor plant.
• Hands-on experience with semiconductor tool hookup design, construction management, and tool sign-off procedures would be an advantage.

Technical / Job Knowledge :

• Familiar with semiconductor C&G systems.
• Familiar with hazards of C&G.
• Ability to work independently.
• Proficiency in reading and interpreting P&IDs, isometric drawings, 3D BIM models (Revit/Navisworks), or CAD layouts.
• Must demonstrate strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Must be organized, detail oriented, self-motivated, and able to multi-task.
• Knowledge of MS Words, Excel is mandatory.
• Additional knowledge of UPW will be added advantage.
