The Watch Category Manager will play a pivotal role in business strategy and retail support, bridging local merchandising and product lifecycle management within the watch category, by supporting the High Jewelry Director, South Asia Pacific as a righthand side.

This role will serve as the primary point of contact for regional markets, managing forecasts, supporting local activations, and creating materials for product launches to drive market engagement and sales according to the global strategy.

Responsibilities

Assortment & Inventory Management

  • Drive product assortment strategy, in partnership with global watch team
  • Drive sales forecasts for the watch category in the region/market
  • Ensure optimal boutique inventory coverage, and product placement and display
  • Work with global watch team on replenishment process to ensure timely stock fulfilment
  • Analyze market trends and sales to adjust forecasting and inventory planning
  • Partner with cross functional teams to establish strategies for managing overstock and aged inventory

Retail Support & Activations

  • Coordinate the preparation and distribution of materials for product launches
  • Ensure all market teams are equipped with the necessary tools and information for successful launches
  • Develop 360 product activation plan according to the marketing calendar
  • Watch caravans implementation
  • Support retail learning/training and store engagement, e.g. Daily T
  • Support client appointments at events and in-store, where needed or upon retail team’s request
  • Drive Watch Ambassador program – create engagement and elevate skillset
  • Collaborate with other departments, including sales, supply chain, and customer service, to ensure seamless operations
  • After-sales support

Qualifications

  • Bachelor or Master’s degree in Marketing or Business administration
  • 5+ years of prior Merchandising or Product Marketing in watches
  • Experience in jewelry & watches companies would be a plus
  • Strong 360 project management skills: ability to be flexible, adapt to changing priorities and meet deadlines
  • Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
  • Excellent command of Excel & PowerPoint
  • Self-Starting approach
