Job summary

The role of Factory Production Supervisor involves supervising production operations, coordinating schedules and ensuring quality per drawings.

It calls for a Diploma in Mechanical Engineering, 2–3 years of relevant experience, and proficiency in reading mechanical drawings; AutoCAD is preferred.

Qualifications

• Min Diploma in Mechanical Engineering or related discipline.
• 2–3 years of relevant experience in construction/fabrication/engineering industries.
• Able to read and interpret mechanical drawings.
• Knowledge of AutoCAD is preferred.
• Strong coordination, planning and supervisory skills.

Responsibilities

• Supervise production operations and factory staff under the Production Manager.
• Oversee fabrication per AutoCAD drawings and engineering designs to ensure quality and efficiency.
• Prepare and coordinate weekly production schedules.
• Ensure workplace safety and conduct regular WSH safety meetings.
• Monitor daily production activities, PPE compliance, and workflow.
• Manage inventory accuracy, material movement and factory storage.
• Assist sourcing cost-effective materials from overseas suppliers and coordinate stock replenishment.
• Support ISO documentation and quality management processes.
• Plan manpower allocation and train workers to boost productivity.
• Review mechanical drawings and ensure fabrication complies with specifications.
• Collaborate with purchasing on material sourcing and procurement.
