Job summary

YCH DistriPark Sdn. Bhd. is seeking a warehouse operative to support day-to-day warehouse operations in receiving, storing, and shipping materials or finished goods.

The role requires maintaining stock accuracy, organizing space, and ensuring timely filing of documents. The position also involves supervising a team of assistants and material handlers, operating forklifts and other equipment, and maintaining warehouse cleanliness.

Qualifications

• Support day-to-day warehouse operations including receiving, storing and shipping of material or finished goods.
• Maintain stock accuracy by completing inventory transactions in a timely manner.
• Ensure filing of documents is completed on time and accurately.

Responsibilities

• Be responsible to support day-to-day operations in warehouse by receiving, storing and/or shipping of material or finished goods.
• To ensure all inventory transactions are completed within the timeline and maintain stock accuracy.
• To ensure filing of documents is completed on time and accurately.
• To organize the layout of warehouse and ensure effective utilization of warehouse spacing.
• To conduct inventory count and assist to verify stock discrepancies.
• To ensure the security and accountability of materials and goods with inventory control.
• To supervise a team of assistant supervisor and material handlers for stuffing and un-stuffing of containers for export and import shipments.
• Selects, develops and evaluates personnel to ensure the efficient operation of the function.
• Operating of warehouse equipment such as forklift, reach truck and stacker and ensure the equipment is well maintain at all time.
• To maintain the cleanliness of the warehouse.
• Performs other job related functions as and when required by superior.
