A leading company seeks a Warehouse Supervisor to enhance warehouse operations and ensure inventory accuracy. Warehouse Supervisor
A Warehouse Supervisor is responsible to lead and evolve our warehouse operations – both in house and with third party logistics providers to streamline operations, enhancing 3PL performance, and delivering outstanding results. In this role, you’ll play a key part in driving efficiency, ensuring inventory accuracy, and delivering high standards in quality, safety, and performance. You’ll also work closely with cross-functional department, collaborating and influencing across various levels to drive operations excellency.
Your Challenge:
Lead and supervise a team of warehouse assistants to manage day-to-day warehouse operations efficiently, including inbound and outbound shipments, transportation, and warehousing.
Plan warehouse activities to operate at optimum levels, working towards efficiency and productivity.
Plan and balance deliveries between internal delivery team as well as outsourced delivery providers; to ensure stocks get to our customers in time.
Lead team to maintain accurate inventory through planned cycle counts, monthly reconciliations, inventory analysis, and related reporting.
Maintain an organized, safe, and efficient warehouse environment, upholding 5S principles
Ensure compliance with all warehouse/operations related government regulations and WSH safety standards
Ensure regular maintenance of warehouse equipment.
Ensure all warehouse activities and transactions are accurately updated in SAP.
Verify that all inbound and outbound deliveries are properly documented.
Supervise and evaluate warehouse team’s performance to ensure team productivity, ensuring adherence to best practices and proper handling of equipment, materials, and supplies.
Specifications:
Professional Certificate / NiTEC
Minimum 6 years of experience in a warehouse management in logistics / manufacturing industry with minimum 3 years track record in supervisory role
Strong leadership and people management skills
Strong understanding of warehouse operations, including inventory management
Forklift license will be advantageous
Excellent problem-solving, decision-making, and time management skills
Able to work under stress, fast pace environment, flexible and adaptive to change, dynamic and pragmatic
Proficient in using warehouse management systems (e.g. SAP WMS) and data analysis tools
Able to move loads and carton boxes of up to 20 kg.
Able to commit to shift work and overtime
Proficiency in Microsoft Office
Good communication and interpersonal skills
Familiarity with health, safety, and environmental regulations applicable to warehouse operations will be an added advantage
