Job summary

A leading recruitment firm in Singapore is seeking a Warehouse/Store Supervisor to oversee daily operations, manage inventory, and ensure compliance with safety standards. The ideal candidate has a diploma, 3-5 years of relevant experience, and is bilingual in English and Mandarin. This permanent position offers a salary of up to $4200 plus bonuses, working Monday to Friday from 8:30am to 5:30pm.

Job description

  • Position: Warehouse/ Store Supervisor
  • Location: Ang Mo Kio (Few bus stops from Yio Chu Kang MRT)
  • Working hours: 5 days’ work week, Monday to Friday 8.30am to 5.30pm
  • Salary (commensurate with experience): Up to $4200 + Bonus
  • Duration: Permanent
  • Industry: Semiconductor & Electronic

Main Responsibilities:

  • Supervise and coordinate the daily operational activities of the store, ensuring the prompt and accurate packing of picklists and BOMs
  • Manage store inventory, ensuring that items are stored in an easy to access manners (depending on the frequency usage of the items) and comply to safety regulations.
  • Practice FIFO for chemicals, ensuring that team members follow
  • Conduct and assists on monthly cycle count and manage inventory discrepancies.
  • Ensure the store environment is clean, tidy, well-organized, and compliant with safety and housekeeping standards.
  • Supervise and mentor store staff, providing guidance and support for their daily tasks.
  • Train new employees on store processes and procedures
  • Supervise and participate in the receiving, inspection, and sorting of incoming goods
  • Pick, pack, and label for both incoming and outgoing goods.
  • Maintain and service of warehouse tools, equipment, and machinery.
  • Perform other ad-hoc duties as assigned

Requirements:

  • Diploma in related discipline.
  • Minimum 3-5 years of relevant working experience.
  • Warehouse/inventory management experience
  • Ability to adjust work hours occasionally to accommodate urgent tasks or deadline
  • Bilingual in English and Mandarin to liaise with Chinese speaking clients who converse in Mandarin only
