This role operates in a cold storage area maintained at about 6°C. You must wear warm clothing, stand and walk for extended periods, and perform repetitive lifting while adhering to food safety and cold-chain procedures.

Job Summary

We are seeking a reliable and physically capable Warehouse Packer to work in our cold storage facility, packing and handling for storage and dispatch. The candidate will be responsible for packing, palletising, and moving stock within a temperature-controlled warehouse, while maintaining quality, safety, and inventory accuracy.

This role is based in a cold storage warehouse maintained at approximately 6°C (43°F). Warm clothing suitable for cold conditions is required. The role involves standing and walking for extended periods and repetitive lifting.

Key Responsibilities

• Inspect product for defects, damage, or quality issues before packing
• Label, seal, and stack packed cartons accurately
• Store and retrieve stock accurately
• Keep the cold storage area clean, organised, and free of hazards
• Follow food safety, hygiene, and cold-chain handling procedures at all times
• Monitor and report any equipment faults, temperature issues, or safety concerns
• Meet daily packing and dispatch targets while maintaining accuracy
• Comply with all warehouse safety protocols, including cold-environment procedures
