Job Summary
Responsible for material receiving, storage, inventory accuracy, and timely issuance to production. Ensures warehouse operations comply with safety, traceability, and ESD requirements to support smooth manufacturing activities.
Key Responsibilities
1. Material Receiving & Verification
- Verify specifications, quantities, and lot numbers of incoming materials.
- Perform visual and label inspections; record receipts in the system and maintain accurate logs.
- Ensure alignment between physical inventory and system records.
2. Storage & Environmental Management
- Store materials according to safety standards, material characteristics, and ESD requirements.
- Maintain warehouse cleanliness, organisation, and 5S standards. Ensure proper traceability and clear location identification.
3. Lot Traceability & FIFO Execution
- Maintain lot-based tracking and labelling.
- Enforce FIFO strictly to prevent mixed-lot or expired materials from entering production.
4. Material Issuance to Production
- Pick and issue materials accurately based on production plans and work orders.
- Generate outbound documents and hand over materials to production material handlers.
5. Inventory Counting & Variance Handling
- Conduct daily/weekly/monthly stock counts and report discrepancies promptly.
- Support root-cause analysis and follow-up for inventory variances.
6. Safety & Compliance
- Follow guidelines for handling hazardous and high-value materials.
- Implement fire safety, theft prevention, and ESD protection measures.
- Participate in safety briefings and emergency drills.
Qualifications
- Experience in warehouse or material‑handling roles; electronics manufacturing experience preferred.
- Basic data‑entry and reporting skills. Strong communication skills, detail‑oriented, responsible, and disciplined.
- Able to work shifts and overtime; familiar with safety practices and ESD awareness.
- Reliable and able to follow company rules and instructions.
