A global technology and logistics company is seeking a Warehouse Supervisor to lead operations in Singapore. The ideal candidate will have over 5 years of supervisory experience in a warehouse, a strong track record in KPI management, and excellent communication skills. WHAT YOU’LL DO:
Plan, coordinate & supervise the Warehouse operations team on the delivery of safety, service, accuracy of inbound and outbound.
Manage the warehouse team member’s PTO to avoid any disruption to warehouse operation.
Manage all inbound and outbound activities at both warehouses. Provide guidance to warehouse team members when it is required.
Establish and continuously improve the work process and enforce the implementation across warehouses.
Participate on the daily stock count and annual audit or any stock take required. Troubleshoot if there are any variances.
Demonstrate the can-do attitude and always think outside the box; enhance teamwork in daily activity.
Be the point of contact within the Warehouse for troubleshooting, approvals, first-level escalations, HR activity.
Demonstrate can-do attitude, especially to new projects with different requirements than warehouse day-to-day activities.
Oversee exceptional performance levels on site across all areas of the operation including, but not restricted to, goods in, processing, inventory control, fulfilment, picking, dispatch and returns.
Assist the Supply Chain Manager with the delivery of Business Plans, KPI’s, and driving EOS values ensuring people processes are delivered and embedded into the Warehouse function.
Prepares reports and/or documentation to share with key stakeholders in relation to KPIs, Project, and queries, as required.
Ensure all inbound & outbound shipments are planned, actioned and adhere to SLA. Shipments should always adhere to regulatory requirements.
Plays a key part in developing best in class operations and share best practice internally.
Drive Continuous Improvement initiatives, demonstrating tangible improvements/savings for EOS.
Maintain only the highest levels of tidiness, cleanliness, and organization across all Warehouse work areas.
Seek out waste reduction initiatives.
Conduct 1:1s with all direct reports per EOS methodology.
Cultivate create a positive, harmony and fun working environment.
Extend support to other projects assigned by EOS management.
WHAT YOU'LL NEED TO SUCCEED:
At least 5+ years’ supervisory experience leading teams within a Warehouse environment.
5+ years demonstrated experience working to and improving KPI performance.
Experience in handling IT equipment, Dangerous Goods is preferred.
Proficient in MS, especially Excel.
Understanding of Lean principles is beneficial.
Possess the mindset of continuous improvement is required.
Experience in Inventory control & asset management would be required.
Experience in leading teams in a fast pace and high-volume environment.
Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written in English.
Proactive, hands-on, and a good, anticipated planner.
