Job Description

• Supervise daily activities of the warehouse, including quality assurance, inventory control, space management, logistics, floor productivity, shipping and customer service.

• Schedule and oversee warehouse team and manage the flow and quality of work to maximize efficiency.

• Meet regularly with warehouse leads to review, analyse, and develop actionable plans for productivity and loss prevention.

• Maintain warehouse housekeeping and workplace safety

• Constantly review and explore effective operational methods to achieve higher productivity in the area of responsibilities

• Ensuring high accuracy level of inventory and accountability. Discrepancies are reported and rectified promptly.

• Responsible for control of inventory levels by conducting physical counts; reconciling with data storage system.

• Providing directions to delivery/store team members, ensure work/shift are planned ahead and all last-minute contingencies are addressed on time.

• Maintain warehouse staff by recruiting, selecting, orientating, and training employees.

• Maintain warehouse staff job results by coaching, counselling, planning, monitoring, and appraising job results.

• Participate in any assignment/project as assigned.

• Any other duties and responsibilities as assigned from time to time.

Qualifications & Skills Required

• Preferable Degree/Diploma in Logistics Management or equivalent

• At least 5 years of experience in warehouse lead role

• Proficient knowledge of warehouse procedure and policy

• Possess strong analytical, problem-solving, negotiation and leadership skills

• Bilingual in English and Mandarin

• Good People Management skill

• Physical strength, stamina and the ability to carry heavy packages

• Experience in operating a forklift/truck and possess Class 3 driving license

• Works in a systematic and organized way

• Self-motivated and able to work independently and under pressure
