Job summary

Igus Malaysia Sdn Bhd is seeking a dedicated Warehouse Associate to support all aspects of warehouse operations, including receiving, storing, handling, shipping, and preparing products for customer delivery.

Your focus is on maintaining a safe, efficient, and orderly warehouse environment with accurate inventory control and timely order fulfillment. You will collaborate with multiple departments to ensure seamless customer service.

Qualifications

Minimum GCE N Level or equivalent.
Prior warehousing experience preferred; training provided for those without direct experience.
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and perform physical tasks.
Familiarity with warehouse equipment, including forklifts.
Strong organizational skills and accuracy in inventory handling.
Basic knowledge of computer systems and applications.
Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
Understanding of safety procedures and warehouse best practices.

Responsibilities

Order Processing: Receive and review daily orders from the Warehouse Supervisor/Manager.
Picking & Packing: Pull, pack, and ship orders within set timeframes.
Inventory Control: Record stock locations, track quantities in system, assist counts.
Collaboration: Work with Customer Services, Sales, and external partners.
Risk & Quality Reporting: Report potential risks or defects promptly.
Housekeeping & Safety: Keep shelves and work areas clean; follow safety regulations.
Additional Duties: Take on special projects as assigned by management.
