LIM KIM HAI ELECTRIC CO. (S) PTE. LTD. in Singapore is hiring for a warehouse operative to handle receiving, picking, packing, and dispatch.

You will read Pick Lists, update ERP entries, and support loading/unloading of goods while ensuring safety and accuracy. Daily briefings and collaboration with sales staff are expected. The role requires 1–2 years of warehouse experience, English literacy, basic computer skills, and a forklift license is an added advantage.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 to 2 years of experience in warehouse or logistics operations.
• Ability to read and write in English.
• Basic computer literacy is required.
• Possessing a forklift license is an added advantage.

Responsibilities

• Attend daily briefings and follow supervisor instructions.
• Read and interpret Pick Lists and Delivery Orders accurately.
• Assist in receiving, picking, packing, put-away, shipping and dispatch.
• Operate ERP systems and mobile devices as required.
• Support loading and unloading of goods from trucks and containers.
• Attend to customers for self-collection or sample viewing.
• Support the sales team with measurements or documentation.
• Perform regular safety checks around work areas.
• Investigate stock discrepancies when required.
• Coach or guide colleagues on operational processes.
• Provide ad hoc assistance in deliveries when assigned.
• Check supplier delivery orders against purchase orders and verify item model numbers and quantities.
• Assemble items to complete sets when necessary and cross-dock incomplete orders.
• Verify item model numbers and quantities before packing and inspect goods for damage.
• Ensure packed goods are secured and ready for dispatch.

General Responsibilities

• Attend daily briefings and follow instructions from supervisors.

• Read and interpret Pick Lists and Delivery Orders accurately.

• Assist in daily operations including receiving, picking, packing, put-away, shipping, and dispatch.

• Operate mobile devices and ERP systems as required.

• Support loading & unloading of goods from trucks and containers.

• Attend to customers for self-collection or sample viewing.

• Support the sales team with tasks such as goods measurements or documentation.

• Perform regular visual safety checks around work areas (e.g., loading bays, warehouse zones).

• Investigate stock discrepancies when required.

• Coach or guide colleagues on operational processes.

• Provide ad hoc assistance in deliveries when assigned.

a) Receiving Focused Responsibilities

• Check supplier’s delivery orders against the company purchase orders:

• Verifying the item’s model number.

• Confirming the quantity of items.

• Checking for physical damage to the items and the lot number.

• Update items into ERP software applications.

• Handle any request according to logistics procedures:

• Assemble items to complete set when necessary.

• Cross-dockings of goods for Pending Delivery Order that is incomplete.

• Do backlog of picklist requested by sales and transfer of goods from warehouse to warehouse.

• Check the incomplete picklist to avoid miss out against the picklist file.

• Coordinate with internal stakeholders to expedite urgent order and extra instruction needed for specific order.

b) Delivery Focused Responsibilities

• Verify item model numbers and quantities before packing.

• Inspect goods for any physical damage.

• Fulfill customer-specific requirements such as:

  • Labelling and re-packing.

  • Assembly of goods into complete sets.

  • Cutting cables, tubing, rails, etc. as per order instructions.

• Ensure packed goods are secured and ready for dispatch.

• Place packed items onto designated delivery racks or pallets.

• Print and place delivery orders at the appropriate location.

• Support delivery drivers in loading and unloading, especially for bulky or fragile goods.

• Assist in ensuring accurate and efficient delivery of goods to customers.
