A logistics company in Singapore seeks a diligent logistics assistant to aid the Logistics Manager with daily operations. Responsibilities include coordinating shipments, handling documentation, and ensuring customer inquiries are promptly addressed. The ideal candidate should possess strong interpersonal skills, time management, and a meticulous approach. Experience in logistics is advantageous.
· Assist Logistics Manager in his daily duties.
· To assist FCL & LCL Shipments
· Attend to customers’ inquiries, responding to them in a timely and accurate manner.
· Ensure proper coordination of all shipments.
· Monitor & Process shipments through Trip TMS & PSA Portnet Follow up closely with customers on any problems.
· Ensure all Import / Export shipments are monitored closely without incurring any extra costs KD/PSA store rent
· To handle logistics documentation – import & Export. Printing emails and replying to them.
· Check accuracy and completeness of documents
· To communicate efficiently with customers and transport team to ensure smooth pickup/ delivery of the shipments.
· To monitor drivers to meet customer’s requirements. Orders and documentation is accurate and precise.
· To assist in billing customers for jobs completed
· Review data and update daily, weekly, and monthly reports.
