Duties and Responsibilities
Utilize the WMS to create, monitor, and complete all logistics jobs accurately and efficiently, ensuring alignment between the system and physical handling processes. Maintain accurate online data and records to support warehouse operations and compliance requirements.
Ensure that all jobs are completed within established Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) for invoicing, leveraging the WMS to streamline processes and meet deadlines effectively.
Generate reports and analyze data from the WMS to track key performance indicators (KPIs), such as job completion and invoicing. Provide insights and recommendations based on data analysis to improve operational efficiency, customer service, and overall warehouse performance.
Serve as the primary user and administrator of the WMS for updating warehouse operations and order fulfillments.
Provide excellent customer service and be the main liaison officer for key customers, appointed forwarder, and warehouse for related shipment handling operations, coordinating activities between stakeholders via Container Transport Operation staff, customers, and BSL inter-departments.
Plan container devanning operations and staff deployment to ensure business continuity and realize service and business excellence.
Ensure regular market research on shipping-related costs to ensure all shipping costs are controlled and remain competitive.
Take on other job tasks as assigned by the superior.
