Cummins Inc. in Singapore is seeking a Warehouse Associate (PIV) to join our onsite team at Pandan Ave. The role requires operating forklifts, receiving and dispatching goods, and maintaining accurate inventory records.

You will perform quality checks, label and store materials, and work with cross-functional teams to meet safety, quality, and delivery targets in a fast-paced warehouse environment. Candidate must have at least 2 years forklift experience and be able to read simple English;

Competenze

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Forklift certification or experience operating powered industrial vehicles preferred.
• Experience with RF guns or scanners is advantageous.
• Able to perform basic reading/writing in English.

We are looking for a talented Warehouse Associate (PIV) to join our team in Pandan Ave, Singapore. This will be Onsite role.

Under some supervision, follow established procedures and guidelines to receive, handle, store, perform system transactions and dispatch goods in a factory or warehouse. Receive incoming goods; check for damage and for discrepancies between goods and invoices. Accurately sort, label, store goods and arrange storage to optimize warehouse space. Pick, pack, and dispatch outgoing goods according to written or verbal requests or orders. Certified to operate forklifts or other warehouse machinery.

In this role, you will make an impact in the following ways:

• Health, Safety & Environmental (HSE) Stop work and immediately report any major injury hazards. Report any work-related injury, illness, incident or hazard.
• Comply with HSE standards, policies, procedures & regulations. Use appropriate personal protective equipment. Promote interdependence by looking out for one another.
• Correct hazards within your control and capabilities. Recognize how your work may impact the environment and work to minimize the negative impact.
• Engage in HSE Training. Quality Follows all applicable standard work, work instruction/process documentation and established quality procedures. Raises issues to minimize cost and quality exposures.
• Performs quality checks for damage and for discrepancies between goods and invoices. Identifies and controls non-conforming material.
• Delivery Receive incoming goods, accurately sort, label/package, store goods and arrange storage to optimize warehouse space.
• Operates manual and automated equipment to pick, pack and ship product per the customer expectations.
• Demonstrates a high level of competency in core work skills. Works at the required cycle time or defined engineering standard.
• Teamwork Communicates effectively with the assigned team and with all support teams.
• Completes training in line with business requirements. Participates actively in ways to improve quality, safety, process, material flow, and employee development.
• Maintains clean and orderly work area, including routine housekeeping tasks and machine cleaning tasks and performs planned operator care and maintenance tasks.
• Remains flexible and performs other miscellaneous duties, as required, to meet business goals.
• Works with peers, skilled trades and support staff to maintain and identify equipment in need of repair.

Preferred qualifications:

• High school diploma or certificate of completion of secondary education or equivalent experience to the extent such experience meets applicable regulations.
• Requires certification to operate powered industrial vehicles (reach trucks, order pickers, pallet rider, etc.) and/or other heavy machinery.
• This position may require licensing for compliance with export controls or sanctions regulations.
• Requires some work experience or intermediate level knowledge obtained through education, training or on-the-job experience.
• Able to perform cycle counting accurately and maintain inventory record integrity.
• Skilled in slotting activities to support efficient warehouse organization and storage optimization.
• Flexible and adaptable to provide support across different warehouse teams based on operational requirements and business needs.
• Demonstrates a willingness to take on additional responsibilities to ensure smooth day-to-day warehouse operations.
• Works effectively in a fast-paced environment and collaborates well with cross-functional teams.
• At-least 2 years driving forklift experience/ working experience as a PIV driver.
• Able to work in a warehouse environment
• Able to lift up to 15kgs
• Able to do identification, packing, putaway, picking and shipping
• Able to read and write simple English.
• Must have basic computer knowledge.
• Experience in handling in RF gun scanners.
• No cross-border relocation on this role.
