A logistics and inventory service provider in Singapore is seeking an Inventory Control specialist. You will track stock levels, manage inventory data, and coordinate with other departments. Ideal candidates should have GCE O-Levels or above and be bilingual in English and Chinese. Entry-level applicants are encouraged to apply.
Inventory Control
- Track and record stock levels of products and materials and notifying purchasing dept. of low stock
- Ensure stock is properly labelled and stored for easy retrieval
- Check and verify items against delivery notes and purchase orders
- Participate in regular stock checks and inventory audits
- Follow health and safety guidelines (e.g. proper lifting techniques, PPE use).
- Dispose of packaging materials or waste properly
Data Entry and Reporting
- Enter data into inventory management systems
- Report any inventory issues and discrepancies
- Generate inventory reports for management review
Coordination and Communication
- Work closely with warehouse staff, procurement, and other departments
- Communicate effectively with suppliers and logistics partners when needed
Loading/Unloading and Dispatching
- Arrange items based on order sheets and system instructions
- Loading/unloading goods into/from delivery vehicles using forklift, pallet jacks or manually
- Ensure delivery documents are complete and accurate
- Inspect goods for damage, missing items, or quality issues
Skills Required
