Warehouse Assistant / Store Keeper

Job Description

1. To be responsible for the receipt of incoming, outgoing & returned goods.
2. To update and maintain inventory records daily through the use of a computerized inventory system.
3. To communicate with Production, Marketing and Shipping Department regarding delivery/shipping schedules.
4. To ensure timely delivery of goods to the customers.
5. Daily planning / confirmation in advance of delivery with forwarder.
6. Daily picking of goods for delivery to customer.
7. To drive and handle material handling equipment like forklift, pallet jet and stacker.
8. To load and/or unload goods from vehicles and/or trucks.
9. Carrying and/or moving of goods.
10. To crate and pack into wooden crates for local delivery and export shipment.
11. To assist in other warehousing activities when necessary.
12. To maintain safe and clean work environment.
13. Any other duties assigned by the Supervisor / H.O.D.

Job Requirements :

1. Minimum Secondary Level.
2. Previous experience with a computer inventory system preferred.
3. This role is physically demanding. Required to carry up to 25kg of goods.
4. Forklift license will be an added advantage.
5. Able to multi-task, work in fast-paced environment.
6. Effective interpersonal communication skills required.
7. A fast learner, independent and a team player with proactive attitude, willing to learn and take on responsibilities.
8. Hardworking, energetic.

Other Information :

1. 5 days work week
2. Working Hour: 8am to 5.50pm Mon to Fri
3. Transport provided to and fro Clementi MRT
4. Salary: Depending on qualification and experience.
