Job description

KEY ACTIVITIES / ACCOUNTABILITIES

  • Verifying receiving and issuing paperwork for accuracy in accordance with established procedures.
  • Maintaining good housekeeping and cleanliness in the area. Comply with all HSE policies and procedures.
  • To perform part preservation on semi-finished material to prevent dents, dings, and rust.
  • Perform the assigned logistics work, e.g., cargo reception, inspection, pick & pack, inventory control, etc., in accordance with SOP/instructions.
  • Coordinate with internal and external parties as required by SOP/instruction.
  • Proactively participate in the Business Excellence Program of the company.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by the immediate supervisor.

SPECIAL WORKING CONDITIONS

  • Forklift License/Certification if applicable.

ESSENTIAL EDUCATIONAL AND / OR TRAINING QUALIFICATIONS & CERTIFICATES

  • Candidate must possess at least Primary/Secondary School/O Level.

PREFERRED EXPERIENCE AND KNOWLEDGE

  • 1 year or more of working experience in the logistics industry required.

NECESSARY TECHNICAL / FUNCTIONAL SKILLS

  • Basic knowledge of warehouse operations.
  • Forklift License.
  • Effective communication skills.
  • Good to have Lifting Supervisor Certificate.
  • Able to perform with minimal supervision.
  • Able to handle overlength pipes, stuffing/unstuffing.

  • Attention to detail – follows procedures accurately and carefully, completing reports or other documents accurately.
  • Communication – able to express clearly, listen, and understand effectively (instructions & feedback).
