A leading manufacturing company in Singapore is seeking candidates for a role that involves assisting in warehousing and packing activities. The position requires a minimum of a Secondary School graduate and 1-2 years of experience in a warehousing environment. Candidates must have a forklift operation license and be able to commit to 12-hour shifts. Training will be provided.
Responsibilities
· Assist in warehousing and/ or packing activities and ensure the interminable and efficient running of operations.
· Receive, storage and issue raw materials to production.
· Pack and ship finished good according to customer’s requirement
· Pack and return empty cassettes to suppliers
· Collect and dispose waste materials to assigned vendors
· Inspect own work and process parameters is verified before start work
· Notify team leader of any deviation of operations and any safety concern from normal operation.
· Maintain 5’S and operations area clean and in an orderly manner.
· Operate forklift/reach truck to transport goods and material around the Company premises.
· Ensure compliance to the ISO&OHSAS Standard Operating Procedures.
· Perform work on different processes or equipment as assigned.
· Assist in basic problem-solving on the processor equipment.
· Other duties as assigned.
Requirements
· Minimum Secondary School graduate or equivalent
· 1 – 2 years’ experience in manufacturing warehousing environment
· Forklift operation license and experience are required and a must
· Able to commit to 12 hours shift work.
· Training to be provided.
