Job summary

Coim Asia Pacific Pte Ltd is looking for a dedicated warehouse operator. You will play a crucial role in managing the handling of materials and supporting various warehouse functions in a chemical manufacturing environment. This position requires safety compliance and teamwork to maintain efficient operations.

Qualifications

  • Experience in material handling and warehouse operations is a plus.
  • Forklift license and Work at Height (WAH) certificate are advantageous.
  • Strong understanding of safety regulations in warehousing.

Job description

Key Responsibilities:

  • Adhere to all warehouse safety protocols and company guidelines to ensure a safe working environment.

  • Ensure accurate execution of export processes, including correct material handling and proper container stuffing.

  • Assist with the collection of raw material samples (powder/liquid chemicals) and isotank unloading/loading.

  • Support decanting of raw materials and finished products as required.

  • Prepare required documentation for stuffing and un-stuffing of containers.

  • Perform picking and packing of items, ensuring accuracy and timely order fulfillment.

  • Conduct regular and scheduled stock-takes of raw materials, finished goods, and supporting materials in accordance with PI documents, maintaining accurate inventory records.

  • Organize and store materials in designated zones and locations in the ASRS, ensuring proper stock placement for efficient retrieval.

  • Print and apply barcoded labels to ASRS pallets.

  • Conduct routine equipment checks and participate in planned maintenance activities for ASRS and its equipment.

  • Assist in identifying and resolving minor equipment issues to minimize operational disruptions.

  • Maintain a clean, safe, and well-organized warehouse environment in compliance with company standards.

  • Perform other duties as assigned by the supervisor.

Job Requirements:

  • Prior experience in material handling, warehouse operations in chemical manufacturing environments is a plus.

  • Experience with Automated Storage and Retrieval Systems (ASRS) is a plus.

  • Posses a Forklift license and Work at Height (WAH) certificate is a plus.

  • Physically fit and able to work in outdoor conditions.

  • Strong understanding of safety regulations related to warehouse operations and chemical handling.

  • Attention to details.

  • Ability to work well in a team and follow instructions.
