Warehouse Assistant

Position Summary

Transportation of cargo using 24ft and 10ft lorry. Assisting with warehouse operations when not performing deliveries.

Tasks and Responsibilities

• Drive 24ft and 10ft lorry.
• Planning of delivery/collection of material such as steel, pipes, engines, valves, gaskets etc around Singapore.
• Perform ad-hoc deliveries which are urgent in nature.
• Assist in loading and unloading of goods from lorry.
• Ensure physical products tally with Delivery Order during collection.
• Assist in maintenance and housekeeping of the lorries.
• When there is no delivery, assist with receiving, inspection and posting in SAP of inbound cargo in the warehouse. In addition, picking and posting in SAP for outbound cargo.
• Perform new yard and housekeeping in warehouse.
• Perform regular cycle count and stock take to verify stock levels.
• Ensure compliance with Health, Safety, and Environmental regulations.
• Participate in process improvement initiatives and implementation.
• May be required to work on 1 of the weekends to support operations. OT pay provided.

Minimum Requirements

• 1-2 years working experience in Warehousing.
• 2-3 years working experience in driving 24ft and 10ft lorries.
• Able to use computer.
• Valid Class 4 Driving License.
• Valid Fork-Lift License is an advantage.
