Job summary

BENCOOLEN ENTERPRISES PTE LTD is seeking a Warehouse Assistant to support receiving, picking, packing and preparing orders for delivery. You will load/unload goods, conduct stock counts and ensure proper storage of frozen and chilled products, including maintenance of ice cream freezers.

Role requires physical fitness and willingness to work outdoors, with warehouse experience preferred but not mandatory. Licences such as Class 3 Driving and forklift are advantageous; higher pay may be offered

Qualifications

• Physically fit and able to carry and move goods and equipment.
• Responsible, hardworking and willing to work both indoors and outdoors when required.
• Warehouse experience preferred but not required.
• Possession of Class 3 Driving Licence will be an advantage.
• Forklift Licence and forklift operating experience will be an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Receive, check and store incoming goods.
• Pick, pack and prepare orders for delivery.
• Load and unload goods from delivery vehicles.
• Conduct stock counting and inventory control.
• Ensure proper storage and handling of frozen and chilled products.
• Assist in cleaning, inspection and basic maintenance of company ice cream freezers.
• Maintain warehouse cleanliness and organization.
• Occasionally assist in delivery, collection, installation or relocation of ice cream freezers and equipment.
• Provide support to delivery operations when required, including accompanying drivers to customer sites and assisting with heavy or bulky items.
• Provide backup support for delivery duties during manpower shortages, annual leave or medical leave, where required.
• Perform other ad-hoc duties assigned by the supervisor.

Working Hours:

5.5-day work week
Monday to Friday: 8:30am – 5:30pm
Saturday: 8:30am – 12:30pm

Salary & Benefits:

• Basic Salary: S$1,800 – S$2,400 per month (depending on experience and qualifications)
• Overtime Payable in accordance with the Employment Act

Candidates with Class 3 Driving Licence and/or Forklift Licence may be offered a higher salary based on experience and qualifications.
