As a Warehouse Assistant, you will play a key role in supporting daily warehouse operations, ensuring that goods are received, stored, picked, and delivered efficiently. You will assist in maintaining accurate inventory, support logistics coordination, and contribute to smooth warehouse and event operations. This role requires a hands‑on, detail‑oriented individual with good teamwork and time management skills to ensure operational efficiency and timely deliveries.
Job Responsibilities
- Warehouse Operations & Inventory Handling
- Assist in receiving incoming goods by checking quantities and quality against delivery orders or purchase orders.
- Support in picking, checking, packing, and storing goods systematically in designated areas.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the warehouse to ensure a safe and efficient work environment.
- Delivery & Logistics Support
- Deliver goods to retail outlets or customers according to the scheduled delivery plan.
- Ensure all goods are accurately prepared, labeled, and ready for dispatch in a timely manner.
- Assist in loading and unloading goods safely to prevent damage during transportation.
- Stock Control & DocumentationAssist in maintaining proper inventory records and updating stock movements in the system.
- Report any stock discrepancies or damaged goods promptly to your superior.
- Support in conducting regular stock counts and reconciliation activities when required.
- Event & Ad‑hoc Support
- Assist in the setup, transportation, and logistics support for company events, fairs, or promotions.
- Support other warehousing or operational tasks as assigned to ensure smooth business operations.
- Carry out any other duties or responsibilities as instructed by superiors or management from time to time.
Requirement
- Minimum O Level or equivalent qualification.
- 1-2 years of experience in warehouse or logistics operations preferred (fresh graduates may also be considered).
- Basic understanding of warehouse procedures such as receiving, picking, packing, and stock management.
- Physically fit and able to handle manual tasks such as lifting or moving goods.
- Responsible, hardworking, and able to work as part of a team.
- Possess a valid driving license will be an added advantage.
- Willing to work flexible hours or support events as required.
