An established industry player is seeking a dedicated Warehouse Operator to ensure efficient operations within a dynamic warehouse environment. This role involves adhering to safety protocols, managing export processes, and utilizing Automated Storage and Retrieval Systems (ASRS) for inventory management. The ideal candidate will have a keen attention to detail and a strong understanding of safety regulations, contributing to a clean and organized workspace. Key Responsibilities:
Adhere to all safety protocols and guidelines while working in the warehouse.
Ensure that export processes are properly carried out, ensuring correct materials and proper container stuffing.
Perform picking and packing of indented items efficiently, ensuring accurate integration with the ASRS system.
Conduct stocktaking in accordance with PI documents using the ASRS system, ensuring accurate inventory records for raw materials, finished goods, and supporting materials.
Organize and store materials in the correct designated zones and locations in the ASRS, ensuring proper stock placement for easy retrieval.
Identify and rectify minor errors or faults with the ASRS cranes, ensuring minimal disruption to warehouse operations.
Perform manual picking according to Issue Vouchers.
Print and apply barcoded labels to ASRS pallets.
Prepare required documentation for the stuffing and un-stuffing of containers.
Participate in planned maintenance activities for the ASRS and its equipment, and work Participate in ASRS maintenance and continuous improvement activities.
Conduct regular equipment checks to ensure smooth ASRS operation.
Maintain a clean, organized, and safe warehouse environment in compliance with company policies.
Assist with raw material sampling and isotank unloading/loading.
Perform regular stocktakes of raw materials, finished goods, and supporting materials in the warehouse, ensuring accurate records are maintained.
Assist in decanting raw materials and finished products as required.
Perform other duties as assigned by the supervisor.
Job Requirements:
Experience in warehouse or chemical manufacturing environments is a plus.
Experience with Automated Storage and Retrieval Systems (ASRS) is a plus.
Posses a forklift license is a plus.
Strong understanding of safety regulations related to warehouse operations and chemical handling.
Attention to details.
Ability to work well in a team and follow instructions.
Willingness to work overtime as needed.
