Job description

We are expanding!

We are hiring an individual for a Warehouse Assistant role. This entry-level role will build a foundation for a career in the precious metals industry, allowing the individual to learn first-hand from precious metals experts and acquire hands-on working experience within the operations of a bullion dealer.

The Warehouse Assistant role will have the following responsibilities:

Warehouse Assistance

1. Assist the Manager in warehousing operations and inventory audits
2. Assist with processing of storage-related orders
3. Assist with inbound and outbound precious metals deliveries
4. Maintain cleanliness of warehouse

Operational Support

1. Assist in the processing of orders for shipment
2. Assist in cash counting and testing the authenticity of precious metals
3. Ensure that precious metals in the showroom are displayed in a presentable and appealing manner
4. Any other tasks as assigned

Skills and Characteristics

1. Integrity: You are required to demonstrate integrity in all aspects of your work and your conduct
2. Meticulous: As you will be dealing with highly valuable items, you are to be meticulous and diligent in all aspects of the role, e.g., conducting inventory audits, testing the authenticity of the precious metal product, handling cash, etc.

Qualifications

1. ‘N’ / ‘O’ Levels and above

5.5 days work week.

Salary and Benefits

The salary is dependent on your capability, experience, and skills. The typical starting salary is from SGD 2,000 to SGD 3,000 per month for a driven candidate, plus up to 3 months' bonus. In addition, BullionStar provides an Annual Wage Supplement (AWS) equivalent to 1 month salary. BullionStar furthermore offers reimbursement of medical bills and access to an employee health and fitness benefit program.
