Job summary

A leading logistics company in Singapore is seeking a Warehouse Operations Manager to oversee warehouse operations, batch and inventory management, and process improvement. The ideal candidate will have a diploma or degree in Supply Chain Management or related fields, experience in a manufacturing environment, and strong analytical and problem-solving skills. This role requires effective communication and teamwork, and candidates must be capable of physical material handling.

Responsibilities

Warehouse Operations Management

• Ensure smooth warehouse operations and promptly address any issues.
• Monitor inventory levels and optimize warehouse space usage.

Batch & Inventory Management

• Ensure timely completion of daily inbound/outbound batch operations.
• Conduct regular inventory checks and reconcile discrepancies.

Department Coordination

• Collaborate with Production and Procurement teams to meet production targets, deadlines, and priorities.
• Serve as a communication link between warehouse staff, management, and customers.

Process Improvement

• Continuously evaluate and improve operational workflows to enhance efficiency and reduce costs.
• Assess and implement suggestions from staff where appropriate.

Data Tracking & Reporting

• Monitor operational efficiency, throughput, work hours, and quality metrics.
• Prepare regular reports on warehouse activities, staff productivity, and potential bottlenecks.

Environment & Safety

• Maintain a clean and organized warehouse environment (6S / safety standards).
• Ensure staff follow safe work procedures during material handling.

Requirements

• Diploma or degree in Supply Chain Management, Industrial Engineering, Business, or related field.
• Experience in a manufacturing or semiconductor environment, preferably as a production planner or warehouse team lead.
• Knowledge of production processes, inventory management, and warehouse operations.
• Proficient with Windows systems and ERP/MRP software (SAP, Oracle, or equivalent).
