About the role

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Warehouse Assistant to join our dynamic team at Mdm Ling Bakery Pte Ltd. As a Warehouse Assistant, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation and efficient management of our bakery's warehouse located in Ang Mo Kio Town Centre in the North-East region. This is a full-time position that offers a great opportunity to be part of a growing and reputable bakery business.

What you'll be doing

• Receiving, inspecting, and accurately recording incoming goods and materials

• Organising and maintaining the warehouse in a clean, safe, and orderly manner

• Picking, packing, and dispatching orders to meet customer demands

• Assisting with inventory management, including stock-taking and stock rotation

• Operating warehouse equipment, such as forklifts and pallet jacks, safely and efficiently

• Supporting the overall logistics and distribution functions of the bakery

• Collaborating with other departments to ensure timely and accurate delivery of products

What we're looking for

• Strong attention to detail and the ability to work accurately and efficiently

• Experience in a warehousing or logistics role, preferably in the food and beverage industry

• Familiarity with warehouse equipment and procedures, including forklift operation

• Good communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively with the team

• A proactive and problem-solving mindset to identify and address any issues

• Physical fitness to perform the required duties, such as lifting and moving heavy items
