About the role

We are seeking a motivated Warehouse Assistant to join our dynamic team at AWOT GLOBAL LOGISTICS SINGAPORE PTE. LTD. in the Changi East Region. As a Warehouse Assistant, you will play a crucial role in our logistics operations, ensuring the smooth and efficient handling of goods and materials. This is a full-time position that offers opportunities for professional growth and development.

What you'll be doing

• Unloading and loading goods and materials from/to vehicles, ensuring proper handling and storage

• Receive all incoming deliveries and ensure delivery notes and other paperwork are processed correctly.

• To Notify Supervisor or Management of any short shipments, mis-picks, damages and discrepancies.

• Ensure compliance with Customs and other local authorities rules

• Adhere to all company policies and procedures, to include the Company Standards of Performance and Safety Policy

• Any other ad hoc duties as assigned by Management.

What we're looking for

• Have valid forklift license (essential)

• Previous experience in a warehouse or logistics environment, preferably in a similar role

• Strong attention to detail and the ability to work accurately and efficiently

• Good physical fitness and stamina to handle the demands of a warehouse environment

• Excellent teamwork and communication skills

• Willingness to learn and adapt to new processes and technologies
