Job summary

A leading company in the footwear industry is seeking warehouse operators for packing and stock replenishment. The role requires familiarity with warehouse operations, heavy lifting, and the ability to work immediately. The successful candidate will contribute to efficient warehouse management and support logistical operations.

• Heavy lifting/manual labor required.
• Able to start work immediately or within short notice.

Responsibilities

• Packing shoes into carton boxes and ensuring quantity matches invoice.
• Stock replenishment by arranging new stocks into racks.
• Maintain cleanliness and ensure packing materials are sufficient.

Job description

Packing

• Packing shoes that were picked by the pickers into carton boxes

• Segregating by shops, category articles and quantity

• Marking the outside of the carton boxes using chalks to determine shop, category and quantity

• Ensure total quantity picked and packed tally with invoice

• Inform Supervisor in the event of any discrepancies

• Move cartons using pallet and pallet-jack (MHE) to delivery Zone A, B, C, D accordingly

• Ensure packing materials (i.e. empty cartons, packing tape, permanent markers, chalks) are sufficient for the next day

• Ensure house-keeping of work-station is observed at all times

Stock Replenishment

• Locate empty space to arrange new stocks into the racks for ease of picking

• Stacking of shoes by size and articles that were received by the receiving team

• Pasting of “buffer” paper indicating size and quantity for the balance stocks

• Inform Supervisor upon the completion of above so that he/she can use the forklift to place the “buffer”

• Any other warehouse jobs as assigned by your Warehouse Manager

Requirements

• Familiar with warehouse operations e.g. receiving, storing and picking

• Heavy lifting/manual labor required

• Preferably possess a forklift license (Not a must)

• Knowledge of basic Microsoft Office skills (Word, PowerPoint, Excel) is an advantage

• Able to start work immediately or within short notice

• Work location - Boon Lay Way (Monday to Friday, 7am to 3pm. Saturday, 7am to 11am
