Job description

Job Summary:

The Warehouse and Logistics Manager will oversee the distribution & warehouse in Singapore. This position will ensure On Time In Full delivery, focused primarily on the last mile delivery to the customer, and warehouse management ensuring First In First Out and inventory accuracy.

Principal Duties and Responsibilities:

• Analyze and manage the delivery charges in Singapore to optimize efficiency and cost control
• Support the management of a inhouse delivery team and third-party delivery agent to achieve On Time In Full delivery
• Management of cylinders and gas refilling
• Manage local sourcing of products to support sales
• Manage warehouse team to ensure picking accuracy for export and delivery
• Coordinate activities with Network Coordinator for delivery completion improvement and an increased Customer Satisfaction level
• Support global safety objectives
• Other tasks may be assigned

Required / Desired Knowledge, Experiences and Skills:

• 5+ years’ experience in Logistics with Management experience required
• Demonstrated experience in working in a fast paced, changing environment
• Must be innovative, detail-oriented, and proficient with spreadsheets, databases and other office tools
• Capable of managing multiple, high-priority assignments
• Strong interpersonal skills to develop good working relationships at various levels and to resolve complaints
• Ability to work on several projects or issues simultaneously
• Ability to manage projects effectively and meet firm deadlines

Education/Certifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Logistics or related field is required
• Transportation and Import/Export certifications a plus

Physical Working Environment:

• Climate controlled office environment and requires the ability to sit for extended periods of time
• Position requires travel up to 40%
