Job summary

A leading company in the food industry is seeking a Warehouse Administrator in Singapore. The successful candidate will oversee administrative tasks in the warehouse and ensure compliance with Halal certification, while also supporting employee engagement initiatives. We are looking for someone with a minimum of 1 year of relevant experience and a proactive approach to organizational tasks.

Qualifications

  • Minimum 1 year of experience in a similar role preferred.
  • Experience handling MUIS Halal food certification is preferred.
  • Immediate availability is an advantage.

Key Responsibilities

Warehouse Administrative Support

  • Oversee warehouse administrative tasks such as filing, correspondence, and document control.
  • Ensure timely and accurate data entry of customer invoices.
  • Support daily order processing and coordinate with logistics on local deliveries.
  • Monitor and update stock inventory records regularly.
  • Conduct periodic inventory checks and report discrepancies.

Halal / MUIS Certification Matters

  • Ensure timely application and renewal of Halal certificates.
  • Coordinate with halal certification bodies and ensure compliance with halal standards.
  • Update Halal status in the master list
  • Maintain up-to-date records of all halal documents.
  • Attend to internal and external Halal-related queries

Employee Engagement & Learning and Development

  • Support execution of programmes, initiatives and survey to improve employee engagement and well-being workshops and programmes
  • Collate employee feedback and suggestions on organisation's employee engagement and wellness initiatives
  • Support and develop training plan, delivery methods, sourcing for training providers, gathering feedback and analysing data to measure effectiveness of learning outcomes
  • Coordinate and continuously improve the orientation and onboarding program for new hires, ensuring a structured and engaging induction experience.

Requirements

  • Minimum 1 years of experience in a similar or relevant role, including handling MUIS Halal food certification preferred
  • Possess Food Safety Level 3 is preferred
  • Minimum qualification: NITEC
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills.
  • Good interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Able to work independently and multi-task
  • Immediate availability is an advantage
