JSB Consultancy Pte. Ltd. is a dynamic and growing construction, interior design, renovation company in Singapore, committed to delivering high-quality craftsmanship and exceptional service. We are currently seeking experienced and dedicated Building Painters to join our team.

Responsibilities:

• Prepare various surfaces (walls, ceilings, doors, frames, etc.) for painting, including cleaning, sanding, patching holes, and repairing cracks
• Apply primer, paint, and other finishes using brushes, rollers, and spray equipment.
• Mix and match paint colors to achieve desired shades and finishes.
• Erect and dismantle scaffolding, ladders, and other access equipment safely.
• Protect adjacent surfaces and furniture from paint splatter using drop cloths and masking tape.
• Read and interpret specifications and instructions to determine painting requirements and procedures.
• Inspect completed work for quality, ensuring an even coat and smooth finish.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area, ensuring tools and equipment are properly cared for.
• Adhere to all safety regulations and company policies on job sites, especially when working at heights.
• Collaborate effectively with project managers, supervisors, and other team members.

Requirements:

• Proficient in various painting techniques and methods for different surfaces (interior and exterior).
• Expertise in using hand tools (scrapers, sandpaper, spackling tools) and power tools (paint sprayers).
• Strong understanding of different types of paints, primers, and finishes.
• Ability to mix and match colors accurately.
• Excellent attention to detail and a commitment to high-quality finishing.
• Good physical stamina and the ability to work at heights for extended periods.
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently or as part of a team.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• A minimum of 1 year of experience as a Building Painter.

Preferred Skills (Not mandatory but an advantage):

• Experience with specialized painting techniques (e.g., decorative painting, faux finishes).
• Knowledge of different types of coatings and their applications.
• Ability to work on diverse projects (residential, commercial, industrial).
