About the role
GIM Sports International Pte Ltd is seeking an experienced WAG (Women's Artistic Gymnastics) Coach to join our dynamic team in the Central Region of Singapore. As a full-time WAG Gymnastics Coach, you will be responsible for leading and developing our competitive gymnastics programme, with a focus on nurturing young athletes to reach their full potential both on and off the mat.

What you'll be doing

  • Designing and implementing age-appropriate training programmes to develop gymnasts' technical skills, physical fitness, and mental preparedness

  • Coaching and mentoring gymnasts during training sessions and competitions, providing individualised feedback and guidance

  • Monitoring gymnasts' progress, evaluating performance, and adjusting training plans accordingly

  • Collaborating with the coaching team to ensure a consistent and cohesive approach to athlete development

  • Maintaining a safe and positive training environment that promotes the well-being and personal growth of all gymnasts

  • Representing the club at local and regional competitions, supporting gymnasts in their competitive endeavours

  • Actively engaging in continuing education and professional development to stay current with the latest coaching methodologies and techniques

What we're looking for

  • Minimum 2-3 years of experience as a WAG Gymnastics Coach, with a proven track record of developing successful gymnasts

  • Recognised coaching certification(s) in Women's Artistic Gymnastics, with a strong understanding of the FIG Code of Points

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire young athletes

  • Proficient in managing a team of gymnasts, ensuring their safety and well-being at all times

  • Passion for gymnastic sport and a commitment to fostering a positive and inclusive training environment

  • Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends and evenings, to accommodate the demands of the sport
