Job summary

Addept3D in Singapore is seeking a Technical Sales Engineer to drive WAAM solutions, combining equipment sales and printing services. You will engage customers, align technical needs with commercial viability, and collaborate with engineering, production and project teams to deliver end-to-end WAAM offerings.

You will develop opportunities, oversee proposals and cost estimates, participate in tender processes, and support post-sale coordination to ensure successful deployments.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Mechanical Engineering, Materials Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Welding Engineering or a related discipline.
• Minimum 3 years of relevant experience in technical sales, application engineering, business development or a customer-facing engineering role.
• Experience in metal additive manufacturing or WAAM is advantageous.
• Experience in regional SEA, India, Australia and NZ would be advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Identify and develop new WAAM business opportunities.
• Manage sales process from lead to order and prepare proposals.
• Coordinate with engineering and production for viable solutions.
• Provide technical clarification throughout customer evaluation.
• Support market development and marketing activities for WAAM.
• Travel locally and overseas for customer meetings as needed.
