Job summary

Qualifications

• At least 10 years with financial institutions in front-line oversight or related control functions.
• Bachelor’s degree in business, economics, finance or related field.

Responsibilities

• Escalate issues to senior management within all lines of defense.
• Lead and manage the Singapore SM team and be the main contact.
• Provide 1st level control and oversight of the investment business.
• Review client trading activity for potential suitability on a pre-execution basis.
• Review and approve investment parameters and ensure mandate adherence.
• Independent review of client suitability profiles from data collected.
• Assess investment concentration issues in client accounts.
• Review materials for clients in English and Chinese for alignment with objectives.
• Manage client situations such as trading errors.
• Attend front office meetings to provide feedback on priorities.
• Perform change management for policy/process updates relating to investments.
• Coordinate audits and support operational risk reporting.
