Job summary

HSBC Singapore is seeking a high-calibre professional to join our Wealth Product Management team as VP, Wealth PDT Mgt (UT). You will define and execute the unit trusts product strategy, working with fund manufacturers, sales, and distribution to plan launches and growth.

The role requires 7–10 years in retail banking product management or wealth management, deep knowledge of unit trusts and funds, and strong stakeholder, regulatory, and risk awareness to embed robust controls.

Qualifications

  • 7–10 years of experience in retail banking product management or wealth management.

  • Strong regulatory, conduct and risk awareness with a track record of embedding effective controls.

Responsibilities

  • Define and execute the UT product strategy and roadmap, identifying product gaps and opportunities through customer insights, market research and business requirements.
  • Conduct appropriate fund due diligence, ensuring offerings meet customer needs, commercial objectives and relevant risk and regulatory standards.
  • Partner with fund manufacturers, Sales and Distribution, Commercialisation, Marketing, Digital and other stakeholders to plan and deliver product launches, campaigns and growth initiatives.
  • Develop sales tools, marketing collateral and other enablement materials, and support events and engagement activities in partnership with Marketing and Proposition teams.
  • Work with Risk, Compliance and other control functions to review and implement appropriate controls, meet regulatory requirements and manage product-related risks.
  • Partner with Operations to simplify and improve processes, reduce turnaround times and deliver cost efficiencies without compromising controls or customer experience.
  • Collaborate with Data and Analytics teams to monitor flows, sales performance and customer behavior, identify trends and generate new growth opportunities.
  • Maintain a strong understanding of competitor propositions, market developments, fund performance and industry trends.

  • Strong stakeholder-management, communication and presentation skills, with the ability to influence across business, control and support functions.
  • Strong regulatory, conduct and risk awareness, with a track record of embedding effective controls into product activities.
