Job summary

Bank of America in Singapore is seeking a Senior Business Analyst to join the APAC Global Funding/Treasury technology team. You will collect requirements from Treasury, Finance and Operations, translate them into functional specs, and work with cross‑functional teams across regions.

You will participate in agile ceremonies, perform data analysis with SQL/VBA, and help design scalable solutions while ensuring data quality and risk controls across the end‑to‑end project lifecycle.

Qualifications

• Minimum 7 years of Business Analyst experience in banking domains.
• In depth understanding of Treasury Products, including Money Market, FX, Securities/Derivatives and related processes.
• Understanding of software development process; Agile/Scrum experience is a plus.
• Experience in gathering business requirements, creating specifications, writing supporting documentation.
• Experience in data analysis using SQL and Excel; Tableau reporting experience preferred.
• Understanding of liquidity ratios, market risk and counterparty risk is advantageous.
• Good communication skills and experience working in a virtual/global team.

Responsibilities

• Work on APAC Global Funding/Treasury technology projects from small deliverables to global initiatives.
• Gather data and business requirements from Treasury, Finance, Operations and Project teams in APAC.
• Translate business terms into functional specifications for development teams and coordinate with other technology teams.
• Document requirements and perform impact analysis for enhancements.
• Participate in design discussions and contribute scalable, sustainable solutions.
• Collaborate with Scrum Master to coordinate sign-off, testing and release management.
• Contribute to agile ceremonies and break projects into Epics and User Stories.
• Perform data analysis and address data quality issues.
