Job summary

1011 United Overseas Bank Ltd is seeking a seasoned Technology Risk professional in Singapore. The role focuses on risk oversight, governance and the implementation of risk controls across technology functions within the bank.

The candidate will drive risk assessments, regulatory self-checks, and reporting, while partnering with domain leads to strengthen control environments, manage audits, and promote risk culture across multi-disciplinary teams.

Qualifications

• Degree in Computer Science or related discipline.
• CISA or CISM certifications advantageous.
• 8+ years in risk & control or audit within banking.
• Experience assessing controls over technology in banking.
• Knowledge of retail and corporate banking processes.
• Identify risks, assess control effectiveness, recommend enhancements.
• Strong analytical, organizational, and conceptual skills.
• Proven project leadership experience.
• Excellent communication, presentation and influencing skills.
• Able to manage stakeholders across multiple levels.

Responsibilities

• Risk Oversight & Governance: oversight for management and risk dashboards.
• Risk Assessment & Reporting: conduct assessments, attestations and reporting.
• Technology Risk Advisory: support risk matters for technology teams.
• Self-Assessments & Control Testing: coordinate regulatory self-assessments and testing.
• Audit Management: lead pre-audit checks and liaise with audit teams.
• Focused Risk Reviews: deep dives on specific risk areas with tech units.
• Risk Monitoring & Issue Tracking: monitor risks and track remediation.
• Risk Culture & Awareness: train and promote risk culture within Technology.
