Job description

This Senior Financial Analyst position acts as a ‘bridge’ between LF Tech and Citi Finance. Monthly financial forecasting & budgeting, balance sheet impacts (of retiring CSIs & projects shared with retain markets), client allocation & variance analysis would be the focus for this role. The analyst will directly support senior management & senior finance teams for the communication of financial forecasts & outlook. This is a replacement role in view of LF to Wealth Tech resource transfer. Responsibilities include:

1. Quantify & communicate financial impact of changes in divestiture schedules and strategies to Citi Finance team.
2. Support Senior Leadership team on matters relating to Financial Forecasts, Expense drivers, variances, balance sheet impacts etc.
3. Assist in driving & closing the monthly financials by coordinating between regional teams.
4. Create & refresh excel models to calculate financial outlooks.
5. Conduct ad-hoc analysis to assess the impact of events such as changes in staff release schedules, accelerated depreciation of impaired software assets, and timing of transfers from LF Tech to Holdings Tech.
6. Assist with budget creation & risk assessments.
7. Identify cost-saving opportunities.

Qualifications:

1. 8-10 years of experience in business analysis or systems analysis.
2. Expertise in presenting and using planning tools.
3. Diplomatic and analytical skills.
4. Ability to manage complex issues with potential impact, weighing various action plans and balancing conflicting needs.

Education:

1. Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
2. Master's degree preferred.
