About our client

Our client is a successful global buyout and growth capital investment firm. They are focused on high-growth opportunities globally. With a highly successful track record and a newly raised fund, they are growing their presence in the Australian and Asian markets, with a dedicated investment team based in Singapore. They are further expanding the team with a Vice President who can draw on their deal track record and execution skills to build the firm in the Australian and Asian region, based out of their Singapore office.

What the job involves

• With support from the wider established fund structure, you will join an entrepreneurial, dedicated team focused on growing the firm's presence in Australia and wider APAC.
• You will be involved in the full deal cycle with a strong focus on origination, due diligence, leading execution, as well as mentoring juniors where required.
• You will work closely with management teams of the portfolio companies post-acquisition to help them reach their growth goals and finally lead them to exit.

Who we are looking for

• You have gained initial training from a top tier bulge bracket investment bank or one of the top 3 strategy consultancy firms with a strong focus on private equity clients.
• In addition, you have since built a track record in growth capital investments or mid cap buyouts, from a leading private equity firm focusing on the Australian high growth tech market.
• An MBA degree from leading business schools such as Harvard, INSEAD, Wharton or Stanford is a plus.
• Affinity to Tech and digitalisation is welcome.
• Our client is looking for highly motivated, self-driven and entrepreneurial candidates, who will play a key role in growing the firm's success in the Australia and APAC region.
• Strong communication skills and experience in leading a team of juniors is a must.
