A leading bank is seeking a VP, Team Lead Operations Transformation to drive change and improve operational efficiencies in Loan Operations. The role involves managing a high-performing team, optimizing processes, and ensuring regulatory compliance while collaborating with key stakeholders. Ideal candidates will have substantial experience in Credit Operations and demonstrated leadership skills.

Responsibilities:
Leading Change & Transformation:Decisively direct and swiftly manage change initiatives, ensuring seamless transitions and minimizing disruption. This includes proactive identification and mitigation of risks associated with process changes.
Process Optimization & Automation:Identify opportunities to automate manual processes to enhance productivity, improve control, and reduce operational errors. This involves gathering user requirements, reviewing functional design documents, participating in user acceptance testing, and collaborating with IT and other relevant teams.
Team Leadership & Development:Manage, supervise, motivate, and coach a high-performing team. Set clear performance targets, monitor progress against goals, and provide constructive feedback to ensure consistent delivery of high-quality services.
Operational Excellence & Risk Management:Develop, maintain, and regularly review Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), including Disaster Recovery Plans (DRP) and Business Continuity Plans (BCP). Proactively identify, assess, and mitigate operational risks.
Stakeholder Management & Collaboration:Effectively collaborate with business units, external customers, and various stakeholders to gather input, ensure alignment, and deliver value-added contributions.
Performance Monitoring & Reporting:Ensure accurate and timely reporting on key performance indicators (KPIs) to management, highlighting progress against targets and identifying areas for improvement.
Documentation & Knowledge Management:Develop and maintain comprehensive operational manuals, ensuring they accurately reflect current processes and guidelines. This includes timely updates to reflect changes and best practices.
Requirements:
Minimum 8 to 10years of relevant work experience in Credit Operations processes
Experience in leading teamwill behighly desirablefor this role
Those with Mortgage Loans experience will be an added advantage
Good organizational skills with demonstrated ability in managing operations
Sound knowledge of consumer banking products/services and respective end-to-end operation workflows for best in class services delivery
Knowledge of Process Improvement Toolkit and metrics/measurement
Good understanding of operational risks.
Meticulous with eye for detail
Flexibility and ability to multi-task and take on different types of roles and activities at the same time
