About the role
Lead a team of business analysts providing data driven solutions to the Credit Card Business. The role will require you to identify opportunities for business growth and help business meet their KPIs through use of analytical insights and AI. You will engage in strategy discussions with business stakeholders as well as senior management. This team is responsible to deliver on data related requests including deepdive analysis, simulations, develop Control Towers and dashboards. As a team lead you will also be responsible for resource planning as well as quantification of value delivered. Your role is also crucial as a subject matter expert to drive adoption of Control Towers for decision making and promote learning through experiments.
Responsibilities
Lead data driven decision making for Credit Cards Portfolio
Understand credit card products and consumer credit lifecycle – origination, activation, management, and retention/attrition.
Understand various aspects of card payments and the processes involved – types of payment methods, channels, transaction types, etc.
Understand customer engagement methods - prospecting, click through journey, portfolio management, etc
Work closely with Product, Marketing, Risk, Regional, Finance and Operations teams to develop new strategies, build seamless customer journeys, drive better customer experience.
Create customer and business impact
Utilize Data Driven Operation Model (DDOM) to maximize value from data and drive business impact with product partners
Drive cognitive and automated banking initiatives through Machine learning models development and automation of control towers
Identify key trends, provide insights on performance & causality and identify opportunities to deepen customer engagement
Be customer obsessed. Drive deeper understanding of consumer needs and preferences Analyse customer behaviour and help design campaigns/experiments to drive customer engagement and marketing effectiveness
Requirements
Thought Leadership and Business Knowledge
Bachelor's degree (or higher) with 10+years of progressive analytics experience and deep understanding ofcredit card products
Preferred but not mandatory: Past experience in data management and analytics in the banking/fintech/financial consulting industry
Understanding of analytics strategies and models to ensure business readiness and applicability
Capable to carry out expert dialogues with stakeholders and product partners
Technical Skills
Well-versed with data analytics techniques like descriptive, predictive, prescriptive, ML and AI.
Strong analytical and problem solving skills; highly numerate with keen eye for details and accuracy.
Proficiency in coding skills and ability to run queries for data extraction.
Preferred knowledge on statistical languages includingSQL, Python, Pyspark
Preferred but not mandatory: proficiency in data visualization tools such as Qliksense
Interpersonal Skills

Strong analytical and problem solving skills; highly numerate with keen eye for details and accuracy.
